About Ty

Probate and trust administration for Alabama families, fiduciaries, and professionals.

As a Huntsville probate attorney, I help Alabama families, fiduciaries, and professionals plan for the future and protect their family legacies.

Even the most successful professionals are rarely prepared to step into the role of a personal representative, executor, or trustee. Navigating the legal and practical realities of administering an estate isn't something you can learn on the fly. And yet, managing the probate process for a loved one is a responsibility most of us will face. That’s where I come in to help.

My practice focuses heavily on probate and trust administration, which gives me a unique advantage when designing estate plans. I know exactly how these plans perform in the real world. I am here to prevent problems before they arise through meticulous estate planning, and to advise families who have recently lost a loved one on how to handle the complexities of the probate process.

I regularly help clients handle estates involving real property, trusts, business interests, beneficiary issues, creditor questions, and other nonstandard administration problems. I also help families plan ahead so that their estate plans are better coordinated, more practical to administer, and less likely to create avoidable problems later.

I enjoy this work because it is deeply meaningful to help a family go from recently losing a family member to having a complex estate closed. I want to take the legal weight off your shoulders so your family can move forward.
